Encouraging news over the weekend: Romney/Ryan packed events with huge crowds, long lines and even traffic jams, the team saw a big uptick in contributions and Romney executed a deft take-down of a heckler using a positive message and a challenge to the President to get his campaign out of the gutter.

And while Romney is drawing overflow crowds, Obama has trouble half-filling a room.

As the left begins to realize there’s blood in the water, how long do you think it will be before we hear a Hollywood celebrity say they’re moving to Canada, New Zealand, etc. if Obama loses? And who will be first? Baldwin? Barr? Glover? Robbins? Penn?

About Ryan’s Medicare reform and how it “will end Medicare as we know it,” someone should remind all of the progressives trying to scare Americans that President Obama said this:

And what I’ve tried to explain to them [Democrats] is, number one, if you look at the numbers, then Medicare in particular will run out of money and we will not be able to sustain that program no matter how much taxes go up. I mean, it’s not an option for us to just sit by and do nothing.

Does that fall into the category of inconvenient truth?

Wow. William Saletan at Slate:

Ryan is a real fiscal conservative. He isn’t just another Tea-Party ideologue spouting dogma about less government and the magic of free enterprise. He has actually crunched the numbers and laid out long-term budget proposals. My liberal friends point out that Ryan’s plan leaves many details unclear. That’s true. But show me another Republican who has addressed the nation’s fiscal problems as candidly and precisely as Ryan has. He’s got the least detailed budget proposal out there, except for all the others.

Did you know that according to GLAAD, the use of the term “Homosexual” is offensive? Seriously. The left doesn’t just use political correctness to silence opposition, now they literally shape the narrative through vocabulary and repressive tolerance.
