Democratic Party Chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz is quoted at The Hill suggesting that:
“it almost seems like my Republican colleagues in Congress and Mitt Romney are rooting for economic failure. I mean, they’ve been hyper-focused on one job, Barack Obama’s, for really the last two years.”
After the White House blames Bush for the GSA spending issue just yesterday, DWS has the temerity to whine about her opposition paying attention to our current miserable failure of a President. Unbelievable.
I know this comes as a shock to liberals, but conservatives disagree with you for sincere ideological reasons, including economic. For three years we have screamed that Obama, Reid, Pelosi, Et. Al., were focused on the wrong issues at the wrong time. Health Care reform when the economy is in it’s current state? Stimulus that obviously failed… er… wasn’t quite as shovel ready as the President thought? Ringing any bells?
We’re not “rooting” for the economy to fail. We are horrified. And we tried to tell you. Remember the Tea Party?
[Added:] Of course they don’t remember! They were too busy laughing and denigrating the “Teabaggers” and telling us we’d have to enact the law to see what’s in it. Yep, good times, good times.
Hat tip Hot Air.
