Speakers including Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson, and entertainer Chaka Kahn appeared at a rally for Trayvon Martin, organized by US Representative Frederica Wilson in Maimi’s Bayfront Park. However, CBS Miami reports that after predicting a massive crowd of over 75,000, only an estimated 3,000 attended the rally.
Perhaps the average American is growing concerned about a tragic situation that resulted in the death of a young man that has been co-opted and mutated by shameless opportunists into a national inflammation of racial tension.
