Time: Romney Obsessed with Economy

The actual headline:

One-Note Mitt: Is Romney Too Focused on the Economy?

One-Note Mitt: Is Romney Too Focused on the Economy?

Wow. Just wow.

We’re in the midst of the worst economic downturn since the Great Depression. That’s not exaggeration. My income is down, my home is upside down, my net worth is much less than it was 5 years ago and my outlook for sustained long-term employment at my age is bleak. There is real reason to focus sharply on the economy.

And yet Time is calling Romney a one-trick pony. I keep thinking how obvious the media is. How bold faced. How shameless. And for some reason, I keep giving them the benefit of the doubt, expecting them to turn around and start acting like news reporters. But they don’t. Regardless, this exposes their panic and desperation as they try anything, everything they can to divert attention to anything and anyone but Obama.

The last thing Mitt Romney should do is pay any attention whatsoever to the suggestions and ruminations of the MSM. The economy is killing Obama because Obama is killing the economy. This isn’t rocket science. Romney is riding that elephant. And he should ride it right into the White House.

Poor Poor Barack

Barry is really getting frustrated that he isn’t making the money he’d hoped for during his reelection effort. Six months ago Obama supporters bragged that they would be the first Billion Dollar Campaign in history. But now that the Unions, Corporations and regular Americans are closing their wallets, it’s time to attack Romney for being evil and raising more money that Obama.

I will be the first president in modern history to be outspent in his re-election campaign, if things continue as they have so far.

I’m not just talking about the super PACs and anonymous outside groups — I’m talking about the Romney campaign itself. Those outside groups just add even more to the underlying problem.

The Romney campaign raises more than we do, and the math isn’t hard to understand: Through the primaries, we raised almost three-quarters of our money from donors giving less than $1,000, while Mitt Romney’s campaign raised more than three-quarters of its money from individuals giving $1,000 or more.

More class warfare. Yea, I’m shocked, too.

I haven’t opened my wallet to Romney, but I will soon. In the meanwhile, I’ll sit back and observe, as our sitting President continues to divide our citizens, diminish our country, devalue our economy and destroy our culture. He doesn’t give the most basic consideration to the notion that millions of good, hard-working, reasonable Americans are upset with his policies, his actions, his politics and his rhetoric. To him, we’re all racist villains. We just can’t help ourselves.

And he wonders why the money train isn’t rolling…

Homosexual Hero Arrested for Child Porn

SF Weekly is reporting that 66 year-old gay rights icon Larry Brinkin, who led the fight for same-sex-marriage was arrested for possession of child pornography last Friday night. According to the article:

SFPD acted after receiving a tip from the Los Angeles Police Department, which obtained from AOL an e-mail exchange between a Los Angeles user and zack3737@aol.com. Police say they linked the AOL address to Brinkin’s IP address; he is owner of the account and paid for AOL service with his credit card.

The warrant claims these e-mails contained images of children as young as perhaps a year old being sodomized by and performing oral sex on adult men. Zack3737@aol.com — whom the police allege is Brinkin — provided graphic commentary on the photos of interracial adult-child sex. Comments included “I loved especially the nigger 2 year old getting nailed. Hope you’ll continue so I can see what the little blond bitch is going to get. White Power! White Supremacy! White Dick Rules!

Oh. My. God.

Of course, the liberal sickos in San Fransisco just can’t fathom their straight-laced white gay hero acting in such a horrific, predatory manner towards a black child (Justice for Trayvon!!), and are immediately circling the wagons:

We put in a call to Theresa Sparks, executive director of the Human Rights Commission, told us this allegation is “beyond hard to believe.”

“It’s almost incredulous, there’s no way I could believe such a thing,” Sparks told us. “He’s always been one of my heroes, and he’s the epitome of human rights activist — this is man who coined phrases we use in our daily language. I support Larry 100 percent, hopefully it will all come out in the investigation.”

Beyond the fact that poor Theresa’s vocabulary suggests educated illiteracy, a likely product of California’s public education system, she also whisks right past any victims and straight to support for her hero, interrupted, “I support Larry 100 percent.” Yea, there’s a shocker.

This is the part where prude “homophobic” heterosexuals like me point out that we are constantly berated for even circuitously suggesting that homosexuality is deviant. But here we are: A prominent and respected white homosexual engaging in child pornography and exchanging disturbing e-mails that expose him as deranged, a racist and potentially even a neo-Nazi. Exactly which part of the word “deviant” is so hard for us to agree on, again?

Exit question: Do you think the black “2 year old getting nailed” looks like one of Obama’s children?

Obama Campaign Begins Silencing Bloggers

At InfoWars.com, “‘Obama Truth Team’ Orders GoDaddy To Shut Down Website:”

A political website that contained stinging criticism of the Obama administration and its handling of the Fast and Furious scandal was ordered to be shut down by the Obama campaign’s ‘Truth Team’, according to private investigator Douglas Hagmann, who was told by ISP GoDaddy his site contained information that was “maliciously harmful to individuals in the government.”

The President of the United States is using his Orwellian “Truth Team” to shut down opposition. Douglas Hagmann’s website, “http://www.homelandsecurityus.com/” is alive and well and Douglas has a post on the matter.

I find that sad that truth has now become “morally objectionable”  to publish. I for one will not be silenced, and truth itself must not be silenced.

People MUST understand, before it is too late, that they will feel the direct impact of this “Truth Team” that is out in full force, scouring for any “objectionable” information posted by private websites. Perhaps it’s already too late. Regardless, I will remain in the fight, relocate out of the reach of these despicable Marxists, and continue the battle until my last breath. Regardless, people need to wake up now. There might not be a tomorrow.

Remember back when Bush was in office and dissent was the highest form of patriotism? Hillary Clinton in 2003 famously said:

“I am sick and tired of people who say that if you debate and you disagree with this administration somehow you’re not patriotic. We should stand up and say we are Americans and we have a right to debate and disagree with any administration.”

Yea, good times, good times.

Shocking: Border Patrol Agents Taught to “Run Away” and “Hide” when Encountering a Shooter

From the “You Just Can’t Make This Stuff Up” Department, Border Patrol Union website, local 2544, is reporting:

06-20-12 In another nauseating series of “Virtual Learning Center” brainwashing courses that Border Patrol agents are forced to sit behind a computer for hours and endure, we are now taught in an “Active Shooter” course that if we encounter a shooter in a public place we are to “run away” and “hide”. If we are cornered by such a shooter we are to (only as a last resort) become “aggressive” and “throw things” at him or her. We are then advised to “call law enforcement” and wait for their arrival (presumably, while more innocent victims are slaughtered). Shooting incidents cited in the course are Columbine, the Giffords shooting and the Virginia Tech shooting.

These types of mandatory brainwashing courses and the idiocy that accompanies them are simply stunning when they are force-fed to law enforcement officers. Anyone with an ounce of common sense knows that any three of the above shootings would have been stopped cold by an off-duty law enforcement officer or a law abiding citizen with a gun. The Fort Hood shooting would have been stopped cold by someone with a gun as well. The shooters in these situations depend on unarmed and scared victims. It gives them the power they seek. We could go on and on with examples of shootings that could have been stopped by someone with a firearm. One of the videos in this course actually shows a terrified female hiding behind a desk as an example of how to “hide” from some deranged shooter. Multiple quizzes throughout the course and a final test ensure repeatedly that we know that we only have three options when encountering some murderous thug in a public place. 1. Run away; 2. Hide; and 3. Only put up a fight as a last resort by acting aggressively and throwing things at the shooter. Not one mention anywhere of “if you are carrying a gun and you have the opportunity take the shooter out”. Calling 911 in these instances is obvious, but we all know that waiting on the arrival of uniformed law enforcement will ensure more people are killed, injured, or taken hostage. Telling law enforcement officers that in all instances they are to run away and hide from some thug while innocent victims are butchered is simply inexcusable and pathetic.

It is always comforting to know that for those of us who carry a weapon when we are off-duty, if we should encounter such a situation, stop a shooter and save countless lives, we can look forward to being disciplined or fired by the Border Patrol because we should have run away to hide and then maybe thrown objects at the deranged killer instead of taking action and stopping him with a firearm. This, in addition to the scrutiny and second-guessing that will come from local authorities and the inevitable possibility of lawsuits and criminal conviction.

Welcome to the New Patrol.

Ask yourself, why would the government order the people charged with your protection to run away, and forsake their sworn duty?

Edwards and Hunter Split

So on Good Morning America Rielle Hunter announced that she and John Edwards are no longer a couple. She kept the specifics private, but suggested that the media scrutiny had worn the couple down.

I can totally understand. I mean, if I were the mistress of a married man, a married congressman, and had his baby, as his wife was dying of cancer, I’d probably be worn down by the “media scrutiny”, too. I’d just hate it. And the last thing I would do is go make a quiet life with him and escape from the scrutiny together. Nope. There’s a better way to find peace and quiet: Write a tell-all book about the whole sordid affair with my photo on the cover, called “What Really Happened”! Oh yea that’ll kill all that undesirable publicity in no time, I’m sure.

Yes, certainly the attention and scrutiny will die down any second when the book tour stops… right after GMA. Oh wait, an appearance on “The View” is next… maybe the attention will die down after that.

Because we are all that stupid.

The vast chasm separating her words and her actions gives the clear impression that she actually likes the attention and is jettisoning Edwards because he’s no longer required. She has his money, her fame (or infamy… it doesn’t really matter, ask Snooki), a book and a bright future. It’s working out perfectly, as if by plan. Of course, that would make her nothing more than a cold, heartless, calculating, selfish trollop.
