The Tolerant Left and Civility in the New Millenium

Late Saturday night one of the Romney Campaign buses was vandalized (H/T Gateway Pundit):

The Romney team today confirmed grass-roots reports that a campaign bus was sabotaged by an unknown vandal over the weekend.

The bus, which was being used for campaign events but not transporting Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney, was parked in Richmond, Va., when the vehicle was tampered with late Saturday night or early Sunday morning.

A Romney campaign official told PJM that the alternator belt was cut.

Instapundit gets to the point:

And where’s the Secret Service? Romney’s the presumptive nominee, and anybody who could cut the alternator belt could have cut a brake line, or planted a bomb.

Meanwhile Politico is reporting on a new wave of Democrat tactics that have all the earmarks of stalking:

While most serious campaigns on both sides use campaign trackers — staffers whose job is to record on video every public appearance and statement by an opponent — House Democrats are taking it to another level. They’re now recording video of the homes of GOP congressmen and candidates and posting the raw footage on the Internet for all to see.

Even if you hate your opposition, what is the end-game in posting this?

“Shut up,” they’ll explain.
