Today, though? Not so much.
Barack Obama managed to out-do himself by uncorking what very well may have been the most dishonest, demagogic, and bitterly partisan speech of his presidency.
[Added:] And remember when the Bible was for those slope headed clingers in flyover country? Well, it sounds like President Obama has found Jesus and become one of the flock along with the bitter clingers. Either that or he is being deliberately disingenuous:
Obama says he’s among those who sometimes question God’s plan for him. But he says that’s precisely when he recalls the “triumph” of the Easter story, and Jesus overcoming his doubts and fears before the crucifixion.
